1845 Floor Plan Purchase Terms & Conditions

By purchasing an 1845 Barndominiums floor plan, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

1. Acceptance of Terms & Non-Refundable Policy

Payment for any 1845 Barndominiums floor plan constitutes full acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.

All floor plan purchases are final and non-refundable once payment has been received. Refunds will not be issued for any reason, including but not limited to:

  • Change of mind

  • Project cancellation

  • Budget changes

  • Delays in construction

  • Dissatisfaction after design work has begun or revisions have been provided

  • Changes in permitting requirements

Because each floor plan includes professional design services and intellectual property, all sales are final.

 

 

2. Scope of Purchase

Your floor plan purchase includes the architectural floor plan and design services provided by 1845 Barndominiums.

The purchase does not include construction documents or engineering services required by your local jurisdiction.

Items Not Included

The following items are the responsibility of the client and/or local professionals:

  • Architectural or Engineering Stamp

    • Obtained locally if required for permitting.

  • Site Plan

    • Prepared locally based on your property and jurisdiction.

  • Mechanical Drawings (HVAC Design)

    • Including HVAC equipment locations, duct layout, and system design.

    • Typically provided by your HVAC contractor.

  • Energy Calculations / Energy Compliance Documents

    • Completed locally when required by state, county, or municipal building codes.

  • Wind Load or Seismic Calculations

    • Provided locally if required by your jurisdiction.

 

 

3. Client Responsibilities

Building codes, permit requirements, and engineering standards vary by state, county, and municipality.

The client is solely responsible for:

  • Obtaining all required permits

  • Hiring local engineers or architects when required

  • Coordinating with local contractors and consultants

  • Ensuring compliance with all local building codes and regulations

1845 Barndominiums is not responsible for additional jurisdictional requirements imposed by local permitting authorities.

 

 

4. Intellectual Property

All floor plans, drawings, layouts, and designs remain the intellectual property of 1845 Barndominiums.

The purchase of a floor plan grants the client a license to construct one home from the purchased design unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

Floor plans may not be copied, reproduced, redistributed, resold, or used for commercial purposes without written permission from 1845 Barndominiums.

 

 

5. Payment Confirmation

By completing your purchase, you confirm that you:

  • Have read these Terms & Conditions.

  • Understand the scope of what is and is not included.

  • Accept the non-refundable policy.

  • Acknowledge your responsibility for local permitting, engineering, and code compliance.

  • Agree to all Terms & Conditions outlined above.

If you do not agree with these Terms & Conditions, please do not complete your purchase.
